Close More of Your Existing Mortgage Leads

Hey! What’s up, everybody! I hope you’re having a fantastic day!

I just wanted to jump on here to share with you one tip that’s actually going to help you close more of your deals.

Robyn and I, last year, were out shopping for a new vehicle. You know the “kid carrier”… we had to replace it.

We came out to a place, like this. As you can see the dealership and there is a dealership over there, and there’s a bunch more of them in the back as well. I’m not sure if you can see, but out here you can check out all the inventory they have.

They literally have parking lots full of these automobiles. Everywhere you look is full of inventory.

Now, we went out and looked at four different vehicles.

Every time, we would look at a new vehicle we would go through the process. Somebody shows up, gives you their card, asks you what vehicle you want to drive, then you go and you drive the vehicle.

Shockingly, after four of these experiences, only one person followed up with us after the appointment.

Then that person only followed up with us once.

So my experience with that is that these people don’t really want my business.  They are not professional enough to follow up with me.

They know exactly what I am looking for. I know exactly what I’m looking for. It’s just a matter of finding the right thing.

Mortgage Leads

Your mortgage customers are no different.

They are coming to you while still trying a couple of different options. They are shopping around and having a bunch of different experiences but it is the professional that actually has the follow-up, that shows that they care about the customer, that’s going to win their business.

The way that you win that game is through automation.

When you got your lead generation dialed in and you have a consistent flow of leads coming in through Facebook or Google or whatever it is, it’s important for you to automate the process of following up so that it’s not actually up to you.

Training

We’re going to be doing an upcoming training (I’m going to send an email in a couple of days) and I’m actually going to walk you through the exact scripting that we use to convert high-quality mortgage leads.

I’m going to teach you the system that actually does the follow-up for you, automatically.

That way, when a lead comes in, that lead goes into an automatic process that turns them into an inbound lead for you.

I think it’s incredibly valuable.

Even if you don’t use the exact same system, make sure you have some form of CRM or some type of follow-up system in place.

The final tip that I’ll give you here is that you should have ringless voicemail, text message, and email going out to follow up on every lead.

You will get a much better response that way.

Only following up via phone is dying – and dying quickly.
