Your Mortgage Marketing Success Blueprint

I wanted to shoot you this quick video from my father-in-law’s workshop.
We’re having a little bit of a party upstairs before we leave for California and I wanted to sneak away and give you these two tips.
Tip Number One – Using the Right Tool
The first is really an analogy of the workshop and you growing your mortgage business.
With internet marketing, you have all these amazing tools available to you, right? You’ve got Facebook, you got Instagram, you’ve got YouTube, you got Google and you look at all these incredible tools and you want to just jump right in and start using them right away.
The thing is, you could actually hurt yourself or hurt your business if you don’t know how to use these tools properly.
We actually had an example of this in our business two weeks ago.
We had a new client come in that had been running ads on real estate postings, or real estate listings.
What they were doing was, every weekend they would take the listings from the realtors in their marketplace, they would calculate what the monthly payment would be on that house at current market rates, they would post those payment amounts and then they would say “If you want more information, fill out this form to get more details.”
They were using a lead form on Facebook in order to generate that lead.
Now lead forms, they’re a tool, right? But this particular client was using the tool improperly.
So what we did was switch them over to our Mortgage Bot and what that does is it uses Facebook Messenger to qualify the lead.
They were generating a ton of leads through the system they were using, but none of them were good enough quality to actually convert into a closed mortgage deal.
So we change the way that they were using the tool. It was still Facebook, we didn’t change the targeting, we didn’t change the ad copy, all we changed was the type of campaign they were running and how we were qualifying the lead.
Now they’re getting high-quality mortgage leads – people that want to get pre-qualified for a mortgage.
Tip Number Two – Building your Blueprint
The first thing is you need to know what tools are available and how to use them properly.
The second thing you need if you’re going to build anything is a blueprint.
Now, you’re going to want a blueprint that’s a little more advanced than this one. (That’s how I draw my blueprints in the workshop for when I’m building stuff. You can tell I’m a keyboard gangster, not a workshop gangster!)
The whole premise of that is you have to know what steps to take and what order to take them in, in order to actually get the end result.
If you just start building stuff and you don’t have a map or a plan, especially if you’re trying to do it over a long period of time, you’re going to end up with a hodge-podge that never looks like what you want it to look like in the end.
You’ve got to have a blueprint and a plan.
