One of the Keys to Success is Understanding the Business you are Actually in!

I hope you’re having a fantastic day! I’m here at the San Diego Airport (thought it would be a little sunnier out, but that’s okay!)
We are here for the winter, and I’m still at the airport, but I just got hit with a shocking realization that I wanted to share with you for your mortgage, insurance, real estate, legal, or whatever business you are in!
We are in the business of giving people a service when they need it.
That means that somebody actually has to need our services.
Check out this thing.
That is the ugliest, most useless cart ever and one could argue that it has absolutely no value and nobody would ever buy it or pay for it.
The thing is, you only ever need this when you’re at the airport and you have two kids and a wife and all of your luggage and you’re waiting for your surfboard to come off the plane.
This little contraption that is basically useless becomes hyper-valuable at the exact moment you need it and that’s exactly when I’m happy to pay money for it in order to get access to it.
I think that it’s a great benefit when we look at our businesses the same way and say, “people don’t actually want to talk about mortgages, people don’t necessarily want to talk to insurance, people don’t want to talk about legal problems.”
But guess what!
When they need to and you can give them the right service at the right time, people are happy to pay for it.
How can you identify those people who need your help and who need your service and willing to pay for it?
Those are the people that are searching for information about mortgages, insurance, real estate, etc. online!
All you have to do is be at the right place at the right time with the right offer in order to make the money!
