I’m currently here at the Woodshop where all of the logs behind me are drying out and waiting to be turned into furniture.
We were just picking out a piece, actually, for a project that we’re working on right now.
What I wanted to talk to you about now is the referral relationships in your business.
As you know, we use digital marketing to help local businesses close more deals.
What I want you to think about is the size of the trees that you’re going out and cutting down in your business.
Are you focusing on the smaller trees like the ones back there? These “trees” are the people that you’re doing business with – the financial planners, the realtors, the lawyers, etc.
These referral relationships are important.
It’s important that put the time and effort into nurturing those relationships because when you do, you actually get the results you are looking for.
Those relationships are definitely worth having and are worth maintaining over a long period of time.
In your business, I want you to keep these trees in mind when you’re putting together your marketing strategy.
These trees may be small on the outside, but they have something beautiful inside and that is access to a wealth of additional leads and industry knowledge.
To help you make the most of your referral relationships, I have created a specific strategy that focuses on nurturing these relationships and using them to grow both your business and the businesses of your partners!
We like to take a list of 30 partners, put them together and work them for 3 months.
Along with calling them, inviting them out for coffee, helping them convert their Zillow leads, their Boomtown leads, their Facebook leads, and their Google leads we also offer to help them with their Google my Business Pages and their database marketing.
Essentially offering them a phenomenal amount of value, just to be able to help them work their leads and bring in commission for both of you.
What we’re doing is we’re taking that list, along with your warm networks and all of the other people that should be seeing ads from you on Facebook, and uploading them so they can see amazing ads about you and your business.
Make sure those social media ads have stories of success from your past clients along with good and helpful information that will help your followers grow and learn how they can grow their businesses or help them establish you as an expert in your industry.
It is also important to make sure there is a clear and direct call to action.
I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I enjoyed producing it for you and I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
